“How can I help the Rockford Pro-Life Initiative bring an end to abortion in Rockford?”
We’re frequently asked this question, so we’ve come up with a list of ways you can help RPLI save babies:
· Pray and Fast for an end to abortion in Rockford from home, work, etc., especially on abortion days (Wednesdays & Fridays)
· Come out to pray on the sidewalk outside the abortion clinic for 40 Days for Life during Lent
· Come out to pray on the sidewalk outside the abortion clinic for our on-going bi-weekly Prayer Vigil (Wed. & Fri. 7:00-9:00am)
· Tell a friend/bring a friend to pray with you at the abortion clinic
· Put a 40 Days for Life yard sign in your yard
· Invite a Rockford Pro-Life Initiative speaker to your church/church group/church function
· Display a 40 Days vinyl banner on your church property: 3’ x 8’ for $49
· Come to an RPLI-sponsored baby shower or help purchase baby items for a shower
· Sponsor a baby who is at-risk to be aborted. Suggested donation: $100
· Make a one-time donation or become a monthly donor. Some of our expenses include: - 40 Days yard signs: $5.50 each - 40 Days vinyl signs 3’x8’: $49 each - Color brochures: $11/100 - Wristbands: $0.50 each - Billboards: $675 for 30 days
· Become a Rockford Pro-Life Initiative member (please email us for more details)
*Please note: RPLI is run entirely by unpaid volunteers. ALL donations made to Rockford Pro-Life Initiative go toward brochures, 40 Days materials, etc., and financial assistance for girls/women facing a crisis pregnancy.
